Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial Aid / Need-Based Scholarships

The Charles Finney School uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment program to award financial aid and scholarships to Finney families and applicants.  Financial aid and need-based Finney scholarships are limited in terms of quantity and availability.  All decisions regarding financial aid and need-based scholarship awards are made by The Charles Finney School not by FACTs.  Families of new applicants and returning students will be notified regarding financial aid and/or scholarship awards by email through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment program once your application is submitted, has been verified by FACTS, and has been reviewed by The Charles Finney School. There are academic and behavioral standards that must be maintained by all financial aid and scholarship recipients. Please consult the Parent Student Handbook for further details.  FACTS may take at least two weeks to process a family's financial aid application and it may take Finney additional time to make a decision regarding financial aid or scholarships.  Please plan to have your application complete to meet any deadlines.

Returning Finney families:  Please completed an online FACTS application including the submission of all required tax and financial documents by Saturday, April 1, 2017 at midnight.  This will allow The Charles Finney School to consider a returning Finney family for financial aid and/or any need-based scholarships for the 2016-2017 school year.

Families of new applicants: Please completed the online FACTS application including the submission of all required tax and financial documents during the admissions/enrollment process.  An applicant must be accepted by the school to receive a financial aid or scholarship award.

How to apply:

To apply for financial aid or need-based scholarships, please complete the secure online FACTS application. If you file taxes, your application will require your 2016 W-2s and 2016 Federal Income Tax Information.  If you do not plan to file income taxes for 2016, please contact the Admissions Office to supply the appropriate financial documentation. The cost to submit a financial aid application is $30 per family. Starting in January of 2017, The Charles Finney School will only consider applications submitted through FACTS for the 2017-2018 school year. Click on the FACTS logo below to get started. FACTS has a 24-hour toll free hotline: 1-866-441-4637 (Spanish language reps available).
