Athletics Overview

Athletics

Our Philosophy

Participation in athletics provides students with additional opportunities to develop leadership skills, teamwork, self-discipline, good sportsmanship and physical fitness. Competition outside of the classroom helps develop well-rounded men and women who are focused and goal oriented. Our athletic program supports the mission of developing well-rounded students grounded in a Biblical world view.

The student athlete is responsible to maintain positive behavior and solid academics. The athletic department, administration, and teachers closely monitor each participant’s grades to ensure they remain in good academic standing. Details on eligibility requirements can be found in the Finney’s Parent/Student Handbook.

Accomplishments

Our teams have a proven track record of success. The teams have participated and won a number of tournaments throughout the years.
