Dual Credit Psychology Teacher Needed
The Charles Finney School announces an opening for a Dual Credit Psychology teacher. The DC Psychology teacher works in conjunction with Roberts Wesleyan College to teach the Roberts General Psychology 101 curriculum to Juniors and Seniors at Finney. A master’s degree in Psychology is required. This position is to teach one class (Dual Credit General Psychology), each day (M, T, W and F) from 1:15 – 2:05. This position begins on January 25th, 2021 and runs through June 9th, 2021.
The course description is as follows:
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides an introduction to the general principles of psychology. The student is acquainted with the human organism, its behavior, and some of the mechanics and dynamics of learning, perception, sensation, emotion, and motivation. The course gives a broad view of all psychology and is prerequisite to all other psychology courses.
Course content includes, but is not limited to: Biological Psychology, States of Consciousness, Developmental Psychology, Learning and memory, Intelligence, Social Psychology, Personality and Psychological Disorders.
